PohlingCookies.com came into existance on the 23rd of October, 2010. It was registered from NameCheap.com and donated to me by Luana. Currently hosted at PaperLove.info.

This is my first website. I have never owned one before. I taught myself HTML and FTP protocol usage by simple practice only, and by downloading free software from anonymous FTP accounts. I had initially thought of registering a weblog on WordPress.com, but I later chose to wait until I could purchase my own domain. This happened when I phoned my old friend Ilila Joy and she mentioned her domain, Qweetie.info, which she enjoys very much, and how grateful she was to her friend Luana for donating it. I was shy at the time, but a week later I asked Ilila if she knew of any contest where I could win a free domain name. Her answer totally made my day: she said that Luana was willing to donate one of her unused domains, and that she was more than happy to give it to a friend of Ilila. Trust me, I never felt more grateful for a stranger’s gift. I lost no time, and I applied for a free domain hosting account at Paperlove.info. My request was accepted, and this website came to life.

Today Pohlingcookies.com is my first and only one website, although the future is uncertain, and there might be more or less websites by Maggie Davis one day. I will enjoy it until it lasts.
